Can I help? Yes, you can. Climate change is a personal consumption problem. Lifestyle choices, such as electricity consumption, transportation, and reducing plastic, play a large role in protecting our planet and the future. But one of the most important ways to help preserve our planet is to acquire land and plant trees. Even if the land doesn't have any trees planted on it, the rich soil still sequesters a lot of carbon. Our goal is to let the land grow wild, and plant many trees on it at the same time.

As a volunteer, you will be helping us out by planting trees on our acres of land located in your area. This will help increase the carbon sequestration and biodiversity.

Using energy wisely is a simple and important way to help the environment. If enough individuals consider making some of these changes, it will add up to have a big impact on the planet.

  • Use less water

  • Unplug electronics while you are not using them

  • Start a compost pile

  • Grow your own garden

  • Start a mini farm in your own backyard

  • Plant trees

  • Grow your own food!

Transportation is a daily necessity. Many transportations you use, emit tons of greenhouse gasses. But, there are many ways of transportation that help you and the environment. Here are some ways you can go from A to B:

  • Consider biking, skating, or rollerblading

Upcycling is when you take something that is considered waste, and you reuse it and turn it into something creative. Recycling on the other hand, may seem the best option for disposing waste materials, but it takes a lot of energy to do. This adds to Global Warming. Upcycling is a fun and creative way to reuse waste using your energy. Here are some things to use for upcycling:

  • What to use: plastic, fabric, wood, paper, and more

  • What to make: gardens, art, furniture, and more
